Step 6 : 4,9,12 assembled for 1/2 of sphere

Continue to staple the cups togeather, using the stack of 9, staple them onthe the group of 4. Place the nine cups around the four, this will form a circle around the center. End with the last cup of the nine stappled to the first cup of the nine. This is a 13 cup stack. Finally staple the 12 cups around the 13 group to form 1/2 sphere of 25 cups

Step 7 : Detail of mini lihgt assembly

Detail showing two mini lights pushed thru the bottom of the cup. Make sure the mini light is pushed far enough into the cup , as to allow removal of the bulb, after assembly of all cups.

Step 8 : Hot gluing minis to cup

As part of the asembly process, hot glue the mini lights to the plastic cup. When installing the mini lights, start with the middle of the sphere. Place the lights in a sprial working up to the edge. If there are more than 25 light leave the rest of the lights hanging. They will be stuffed into the center, During final assembly of the two spheres.

Step 9 : Mini lights added to both halves

This is a view of all the lights installed and stuffed into the middle, the power cords are rou ted out for convient access of 120vac. Obviously, if you use seperate strings of colors, multiple ac cords would be routed out of the sphere during final assembly.

Step 10 : Testing both halves

Test the lights before final assemble!! If a light burns out in the middle, accdess is easily done, just unstaple the halves and troubleshoot. After repairs restaple them togeather.
