HowTo: 3' Tree  (David Fansler)


                              

Step 1 :


I decided to build some 3' trees for my display after having seen the triangle of trees in Carson Williams video. I purchased four 3' plastic tomato stakes from Lowe's. Three of the stakes I drilled a small hole near the top and used a black wire tie to bundle them together. The forth stake was cut into 3 equal lengths and also wire tied to the frame as braces to form a rigid frame.

Three 100 bulb strings of lights (yellow, green, red) were wrapped around the frame and held in place by wire ties. Above is a picture of the finished frame prior to adding lights. Below is a picture of all the lights on. Each string is individually controlled.

A forest starts with a single tree!
