Step 1 : What are we doing??


Here is a very brief description on how to build a 6 channel SSR controled switch box out of a standard (I got mine at WalMart) power strip.

Step 2 : SSR Printed Circuit Board


This is a modified version of the "Cookie cutter" PCB design described in my PCB how to. If you want to make one of these let me know and I will get you a better looking layout. If you happen to be using WinBoard PCB layout software, I can send you the actual file I use to create these little babies.

Step 3 : The board...


As you can see, this is a very compact design. The triacs are actually folded over the optocouplers.

As you can see from this angle, its a pretty small board. Actual size 1" x 4"
