| HELP! Firegod / simple 595 controllers |

Need some troubleshooting tips. I'm running qty 7 - 8 channel controllers and have an interesting mis-fire. These are the Firegod controllers (Simple 595). They are running off a single parallel port. I have these connected to a 7x7 LED style matrix where we can put up symbols or spell out words. 7 10' poles - 7 segments each. Each pole is connected to a controller. If I light up each vertical pole (7 channels on a single board) each works fine. If I try to light up horizontal lines (channel 1 of each board) I start running into a misfire. I've set the parallel port to EPP. Here is where it gets even worse. If I run horizontal segments across the first three boards - all works well. If I run horizontal segments across the next three boards, everything is fine. But when I try to run across all 7 - things start to light up in other rows. When I run my show, things that are programmed do not show up properly. I can put together a video to show what is going on, but I was hoping that someone would have some suggestions. Thanks much!!
