I've been using the 8 channel parallel port controller I built from the plans off this site for a few years now. This year, I was thinking of upgrading most or all of my lights to LED. My question is, do these lights come on as instantaneously as the old-school regular bulbs or would there be a slight delay, since there's the little transformer on LED strands?
I don't think the constant on/off would damage the lights, but not real sure about the transformers used for them.
I'm hoping it will work so I can up my light count without upping the power bill! lol
Anyone using LEDs with this style of controller? Any issues I need to be aware of?
