Step 1 : Drilling and beginning assembly

This is based on readily available PVC plumbing parts.
First you need a couple of Lasco 2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe cap which set me back $0.87 each.
Drill a 1 or 1.25 inch hole in the end of one cap. It helps in assembly to offset it a bit if drilling a 1 inch opening because of the offset of the cat5 connector in Sean's design if using the RJ45 option.
